Formatting the Memory Card
When installing a memory card for the first time, format it directly on the DVR to ensure proper compatibility.
Formatting Steps:

1. Insert the memory card into the DVR.

2. Long press the “M” key to access the DVR menu.

3. Navigate to the Format option.

4. Select and confirm to format the memory card.

Important: Do not format the memory card using a computer. Formatting must be performed via the DVR’s menu to ensure correct file system configuration.

Wi-Fi Connection Setup
Before connecting your DVR to a mobile phone, install the “Viidure” app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Connection Steps:

1. In standby mode, long press the “M” key to enter the DVR menu, then navigate to Wi-Fi Settings.

2. In the Wi-Fi menu, note the DVR’s SSID and password.

3. Open the Viidure app on your phone, enable Wi-Fi, and enter configuration mode.

4. Select the DVR’s SSID from the Wi-Fi list, enter the password, and connect.

5. Once connected, you can control and view the DVR through the Viidure app.

Reversing Assist Function
If your kit includes a rearview camera and you want to enable the reversing assist function:

• Connect the red signal wire of the rearview camera to the car’s reversing light power supply (this light activates when reversing).

• If you do not require the reversing assist function, leave the red signal wire disconnected.

24-Hour Parking Monitoring
For continuous recording while the car is turned off, use a Buck Line accessory instead of the standard car charger. The Buck Line connects the DVR directly to the car’s battery or ACC, ensuring uninterrupted power supply.
Note: Because battery and ACC interfaces vary by vehicle model, professional installation of the Buck Line is strongly recommended.

Resetting and Restarting
If the DVR freezes or fails to power on due to incorrect operation:

• Locate the small reset hole marked with an “R” on the side of the DVR.

• Insert a pointed tool (such as a toothpick) into the hole and press for 3 seconds.

• The DVR will restart and return to normal operation.
